If you are also confused, keep reading as we answer whether Throne and Liberty is free to play while explaining the different editions and what they offer.
Is Throne and Liberty free to play?

Yes! Throne and Liberty is a free toplay MMO from developers NCSoft, which also offers paid versions with benefits like five days of early access, direct access to various Morph (Mounts), in-game titles, emotes, outfits, and Lucent, the premium currency.
This is not the first time we have had an MMO that is technically free to play but also offers paid versions with in-game items and rewards as compensation, with the main idea being supporting the developers.
That being said, Throne and Liberty will become accessible to play for free on its global release, set for October 1, 2024, at 10 a.m. PST.

Meanwhile, if you buy the paid versions, aka Early Access Packs, you can play the game starting September 26, 2024, at 10 a.m. PST.
Throne and Liberty editions, and what do they offer?

Throne and Liberty has three editions, four if you take the free-to-play version of the game.
While the latter only offers access to the base game, the remaining three offer lucrative in-game items and currency in exchange for real money and, as we mentioned earlier, a five-day early access to the game.
