When is the Hunt Showdown 1896 release date?
Hunt Showdown 1896 will be released on August 15 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. This latest update will skip last-gen consoles, presumably because of the move to CryEngine 5.11.
The new Mammon’s Gulch map takes place in the brown rocky mountains of Colorado, a stark contrast to the green Louisiana swamps of the original map.
It also features more verticality than the Stillwater Bayou and Lawson Delta maps, with its two open-ended mountain areas connected by dungeon-like mines.
From pristine waterfalls to dilapidated mining towns, there will be plenty to see and explore in Hunt Showdown 1896.
What to expect from Hunt Showdown 1896?
Hunt Showdown 1896’s main attraction is the new Mammon’s Gulch map, which features 16 compounds. These are:

In addition to the new map, not much else is known about the Hunt Showdown 1896 update, except that it will make several technical improvements to the game.
In addition, the other two Hunt Showdown maps will be revamped and added to the game via a post-launch update.
Crytek have also confirmed that this will be a free update for everyone, even if you own the game on last-gen consoles.
