The Pokémon UNITE World Championships 2023 may be over, but players such as Eeyorr are already thinking about their plans for the next competitive season.

Esports never sleeps, especially for those who are hungry to prove that they too deserve a championship title.

In an exclusive interview with ONE Esports, Judha ‘Eeyorr’ Panggabean revealed the team is motivated to get right back into practicing for next year’s World Championships.

Eeyorr is already thinking about the next competitive season

As the competitive season comes to a close following the crowning of the 2023 Pokémon UNITE champions, Luminosity Gaming, Eeyorr shared the team’s plans for the next competitive season.

“We’re definitely taking a short break, but right after that, we’ll get back into practicing. We’re definitely going to compete in the next competitive season,” he said.

It’s tradition for esports teams to have a break after a big competition to rest and recuperate. Competing at the WCS, however, has motivated them to work even harder for the chance to be crowned 2024 champions.

Eeyorr thinks his team has many areas to improve upon and is excited to see how much better they can be together for the next World Championships.

There may be roster changes for next season

As a new season approaches, so does the wind of change.

Eeyorr revealed that the team may look slightly different next season depending on the outcome of the next team discussion: “There might be lineup changes, but that’s still a conversation we need to have together as a team.”

Featuring some of the most talented players to emerge from the APAC West region, who could possibly replace any of the active players from the roster? Until an official announcement is made, fans will need to wait with bated breath.
