Sentinels’ Jared “zombs” Gitlin made remarks about rival North American squad, 100 Thieves, about their agent compositions after the VCT NA Stage 3 Challengers Playoffs.

The kings of North America dominated another grand final as they defeated 100 Thieves 3-1 and solidified their hold as the best team from the region during VCT NA Stage 3.

After the match, zombs believes 100 Thieves have “a lot of work to do” if they hope to do better in VCT Stage 3 Masters Berlin.

Sentinels zombs thinks 100 Thieves’ agent compositions in VCT NA aren’t good

As the top-seeded team going into Berlin, he shared his thoughts on how 100 Thieves would perform in their first international competition.

“I personally think they have a lot of work to do,” said zombs. “Their agent comps aren’t good on any map, so they need to figure out their agent pool situation and get everyone on the correct characters to have a chance at winning.”

He’s referring to 100 Thieves’ decision not to run Sova on Breeze, and selecting three initiators, KAY/O, Skye, and Sova on Haven.

“I don’t think our comp has any advantage on theirs,” shared zombs. “I just think their composition is not how the game should be played and they’re missing utility that’s needed in the rounds.”

While 100 Thieves’ new agent comp wasn’t successful against Sentinels, it did work against FaZe Clan, XSET, and Team Envy as they made their run to qualify for VCT Stage 3 Masters Berlin.

Sentinels’ Hunter “SicK” Mims also weighed in on how KAY/O fits into the Valorant pro meta.

“In theory, he is a really good agent, but he isn’t really good for our team especially,” explained SicK. “If we don’t have two duelists, it is hard to enter sites.”
