The Episode 3 Act 1 agent changes will undoubtedly change the meta for competitive and ranked play in Valorant. The update is set to arrive on June 23 with the release of KAY/O and the new Battle Pass.

The agent that received the biggest nerfs was Jett after her Cloudburst and Updraft abilities increased in price. Bladestorm now also requires seven ultimate points to activate.

Every agent in the Valorant roster, except for Killjoy, received balance changes. Here’s the list of all Episode 3 Act 1 agent changes:

  • Astral Form Stars cost decreased from 200 to 150
  • Astral Form starting Stars decreased from 2 to 1 at the start of each round

Breach

  • Aftershock cost increased from 100 to 200
  • Aftershock will do three small burst shocks instead of one big shock
  • Flashpoint cost increased from 200 to 250
  • Flashpoint charges reduced from 3 to 2

Brimstone

  • Incendiary cost increased from 200 to 250

Cypher

  • Neutral Theft activation decreased from 7 to 6 ultimate points

Jett

  • Cloudbursts cost increased from 100 to 200
  • Updraft cost increased from 100 to 150
  • Tailwind can no longer be used to dash through Cypher’s Trapwires
  • Blade Storm activation increased from 6 to 7 ultimate points

Omen

  • Shrouded Step cost increased from 100 to 150
  • Paranoia cost decreased from 400 to 300
  • Dark Cover consists of one free smoke instead of two. The second smoke costs 100 credits.
  • New Dark Cover (smokes) regenerate after 40 seconds 

Phoenix

  • Curveballs cost increased from 200 to 250

Raze

  • Boombot cost increased from 200 to 400
  • Showstopper activation increased from 7 to 8 ultimate points

Reyna

  • Leer cost increased from 200 to 250

Sage

  • Slow Orb cost increased from 100 to 200
  • Resurrection activation increased from 7 to 8 ultimate points

Skye

  • Trailblazer cost increased from 200 to 250
  • Guiding Light cost increased from 100 to 150
  • Guiding Light charges reduced from 3 to 2
  • Guiding Light (flashes) regenerate after 40 seconds

Sova

  • Owl Drone cost increased from 300 to 400
  • Shock Bolt cost increased from 100 to 150
  • Hunter’s Fury activation increased from 7 to 8 ultimate points

Viper

  • Snake Bite cost increased from 100 to 200

Yoru

  • Blindside cost increased from 200 to 250


Episode 3 Act 1 weapon price updates

The new weapon price updates will go live alongside the Episode 3 Act 1 agent changes. The Operator received the most notable change after Riot Games decided to drop its price to 4,700.
