It’s time to cast your vote for the Overwatch League’s 2019 MVP.
The general managers for each of the league’s 20 teams have nominated five players for the title, but the final winner will be decided by a combination of votes from fans, coaches, general managers, broadcast talent, and esports media.
The fan vote counts for a whopping 25% so choose your MVP winner carefully.
The five candidates for the 2019 MVP award are:
- Jay “sinatraa” Won — San Francisco Shock DPS
- Ju-Seok “Twilight” Lee — Vancouver Titans Support
- Qiulin “Guxue” Xu — Hangzhou Spark Tank
- Hyun-Woo “Jjanu” Choi — Vancouver Titans Tank
- Matthew “super” DeLisi — San Francisco Shock Tank
Jay “sinatraa” Won — San Francisco Shock DPS
Sinatraa is primarily known as a Tracer player, but this season he has also become one of the best Zarya’s around. He leads the league in total hero damage, and ranks in the top three for Zarya ultimates, damage, and fewest deaths.
Lee “Twilight” Ju-seok — Vancouver Titans Support
Twilight leads the league in damage on Zenyatta, and is second in final blows. He also has the lowest first death rate in team fights, and has the highest teamfight win rate.
Qiulin “Guxue” Xu — Hangzhou Spark Tank
Guxue is one of the best Winstons in the league and is known for his amazing Primal Rage usage. When using Primal Rage, he is first in fewest deaths, first in hero damage, and second in teamfight win rate.
Choi “Jjanu” Hyun-woo — Vancouver Titans Tank
Jjanu is probably the best off tank in the league and ranks first in fewest deaths, first in eliminations, and top three in final blows on D.Va.
Matthew “super” DeLisi — San Francisco Shock Tank
Super is known for his Reinhardt play and ranks second in damage, third in eliminations, second in final blows, second in fewest deaths, and fourth in ultimates on the German main tank.
Voting is open now and will close on August 25 at the end of Stage 4.
You can cast your vote by posting a tweet with your chosen players name and the hashtag #OWLMVP.
Last year, New York Excelsior support player, Sung-hyeon “JJoNak” Bang, was named the Overwatch League’s inaugural season MVP. He was rewarded with a legendary in-game skin of his main, Zenyatta, earlier this year.
