MPL MY/SG S5 champions, Resurgence, will compete at the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Invitational.
The Singaporean squad has been on fire this year, and were undefeated in MPL MY/SG Season 5 up until the final day of the regular season when they were upset by rivals, EVOS SG.
Undeterred, Resurgence fought their way through the playoffs, culminating in a 3-1 victory over Malaysian squad, Geek Fam, in the grand final.
The squad is led by team captain, Eugene “Kayzeepi” Kong, and also boasts veteran star power in MPL MY/SG Season 1 champions, Ho “SyиC” Ee Hong, Jason “Jason” Koh Wei Hao, and grand final MVP, Lim “ly4ly4ly4” Yang.
Resurgence is the third invited team to be announced for the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Invitational.
Three other top teams from all over the world will be announced in the coming weeks, and will be joined by six qualifier teams, who have fought through the online country qualifiers to secure their spot at the Invitational:

The teams will compete for a total prize pool of US$150,000 when the tournament is held later this year.
