Russian esports team Team Unique came out with the ultimate chicken dinner at the 2019 PUBG Mobile Star Challenge in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Although TU had a rocky day 1 with a total of only six points, day 2 gave them a significant boost in ranking, moving up to the third place with 50 points. Even without any first-place wins in the group stages, the team focused on placement and kill points to secure a spot in the finals.

TU would eventually dominate in day 3, winning the PMSC World Cup with a sum of 111 points. TU started to gain momentum with their third-place win in game two. Game three was a massive win for Team Unique, getting a first-place win with 16 kills.

Despite RRQ’s game four win that stole the lead by five points, TU had a miraculous last-game win, ending in a 2v2 clash with Yalla eSports. The Russian team ended up to be the only team with two wins on the final day.
