League of Legends’ latest AD carry, Aphelios, has been overpowered since his release late last year.

Fans once again got to witness the power of this 5-gun champion during the opening weekend of the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) 2020 Summer Split in Schalke 04’s match against Rogue.

Cornered on Aphelios, S04 bot laner Nihat “Innaxe” Aliev completely turned a 1v4 situation around, and even emerged with a double kill.

Finn “Finn” Wiestål’s Gangplank, Kacper “Inspired” Słoma’s Jarvan IV, Steven “Hans sama” Liv’s Ezreal, and Oskar “Vander” Bogdan’s Yuumi all ganged up on Innaxe in the bottom lane.

Innaxe decisively utilized Aphelios’ Calibrum and Crescendum guns, with the latter catching full Chakrams to deal heavy damage against Gangplank and Jarvan.

Innaxe’s item, Death Dance, also helped him regenerate a huge chunk of his health to survive and turn the tables against Rogue.

Despite the amazing outplay, it was ultimately the clutch Shockwaves from RGE Emil “Larssen” Larsson’s Orianna that carried Rogue to victory.
