Fans won’t be seeing ex-Fnatic mid laner, Tim “Nemesis” Lipovšek, on the pro scene for a while as he has announced a short hiatus for the 2021 League of Legends European Championship (LEC) Spring Split.
The 21-year old Slovenian player will be taking a break from the competitive season by skipping the 2021 Spring Split. The announcement was made right after Fnatic confirmed that they are parting ways with Nemesis by mutual agreement.
“Tim has held discussions with multiple teams over a transfer, but when we couldn’t find the perfect solution for him, we mutually agreed to terminate Tim’s contract to allow him to pursue another direction,” said Fnatic in their official statement.

While he already had some options, none of them were “of high enough interest” to Nemesis. This will be the first time that he’ll be skipping the first half of the regular season ever since he debuted in the LEC.
Nemesis is known for his clean mechanics and clean outplays, as fans have witnessed during the LEC Spring and Summer Splits.
Former Cloud9 player from the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer will be taking over his role in time for the 2021 season.
