Despite struggling through a rough start in this year’s League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Spring Split, Evil Geniuses (EG) is still a team that can easily pull off some wild plays on the Summoner’s Rift.

In their LCS Week 2 match against the higher-ranked Immortals (IMT), EG decided to interrupt Immortals’ Elder Dragon takedown despite being one man down. With their ADC still well into his death timer, EG looked to be outnumbered in the inevitable clash.

Colin “Kumo” Zhao and his Dominus-activated Renekton made a grand blast-cone entrance, drawing all the attention from IMT. With Kumo tanking all the damage, Daniele “Jiizuke” di Mauro flashed in to quickly shut down Johnny “Altec” Ru.

Even with Jiizuke’s death from Jérémy “Eika” Valdenaire’s bullets soon after, Kumo easily picked up two more kills to avenge his teammate.

IMT’s Paul “sOAZ” Boyer tried to escape through the mid-lane, but Tristan “Zeyzal” Stidam’s Yuumi jumped onto Kumo’s Renekton as he sliced-and-diced his way to EG’s final kill. With every prowling projectile being a success, Zeyzal’s Yuumi claimed the kill on sOAZ’s retreating Ornn.

With the incredible outplay, EG won the game against Immortals, breaking IMT’s winning streak and moving up to seventh place with a 3-5 standing.
