DWG KIA has finally settled down in Reykjavik, Iceland for the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational and has been releasing quick updates on how their players are doing.

In an episode of “Returners of the DAMWON KIA”, AD carry bot laner Jang “Ghost” Yong-jun shared his experience scrimming in the European region.

Even though the team had to undergo self-quarantine, Ghost found that adapting to the environment wasn’t too hard. Despite being away from each other, they could still bide their time at the provided training facilities.

“I’m still figuring things out so I can’t say,” said Ghost. “The EU server is unusual. People are obsessed with dragons. They’re dragon slayers.”

Ghost also commented that Iceland has some of the cleanest tap water in the world. The bot laner used a shower head filter and found no impurities in the crystal-clear, great-tasting water.

With the interviewer knowing that Ghost loves drinking coke, he confirmed that even coke tasted better in Iceland.

Ghost also gave a lot of praise to fellow teammate Heo “ShowMaker” Su for his superstar status heading into the international tournament. When asked if he could have a hype saying like “Do You Know ShowMaker?”, the DWG KIA player believed he was not ready to take on such a powerful quote.

“He’s now a global esports star,” stated Ghost. “The phrase has power. I dare not challenge ShowMaker.”

DWG KIA kicks off the Mid-Season Invitational against Cloud9 on May 6 at 9 p.m. GMT+8.
