The League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) heads into the postseason with the 2021 LCK Summer playoffs.
Out of the six qualified teams, only one will take the title of 2021 LCK Summer champions and represent the region as its first seed at the upcoming League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2021).

What is the 2021 LCK Summer playoffs?
The 2021 LCK Summer playoffs is the postseason tournament of the 2021 LCK Summer season. The tournament will determine the first LCK team to qualify for the group stage of Worlds 2021.

Format of the LCK Summer playoffs
The tournament follows a single-elimination, king of the hill format with all six teams competing in best-of-five matches.
The top two seeds will get a by, and will face the quarterfinals victors in the semifinals.

2021 LCK Summer playoffs prize pool
The LCK Summer playoffs has a KR₩375 million (US$322,000) prize pool that will be shared among the top performing teams.
The 2021 LCK Summer champions will secure a group stage slot at Worlds 2021, while the remaining teams will receive championship points to improve their standings at the LCK Regional finals.
- 1st: KR₩200 million (US$172,000) and World 2021 Group Stage KR Seed #1
- 2nd: KR₩100 million (US$86,000) and 100 points
- 3rd: KR₩50 million (US$43,000) and 80 points
- 4th: KR₩25 million (US$21,500) and 50 points
- 5th: 30 points
- 6th: 10 points
