This preliminary round serves as a proving ground for champion and runner-up teams from EMEA, North America, Asia-Pacific, Japan, Vietnam, Brazil, and Latin America. This year’s Play-Ins feature a more competitive format, with four teams advancing to the Swiss stage compared to two in Worlds 2023. Teams are drawn into double elimination brackets and play best-of-three matches.
