Registration for the upcoming Combo Breaker tournament has closed and we now know the number of participants for each game.

The top three weren’t too much of a surprise, with the newest game on the block, Mortal Kombat 11, taking the top spot with 758 participants. Tekken 7 was second with 609, and the ever-popular Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition was third with 588.

The fourth spot was a bit of a shocker though, with 424 entries for lesser-known anime fighting game Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late. That’s more than Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (422) and Dragon Ball FighterZ (374).

Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st], commonly abbreviated to UNIST, is an insane anime fighting game with crazy combos and a diverse cast of 20 characters. Unlike a lot of other anime fighters like Dragon Ball FighterZ it doesn’t have a lot of aerial gameplay, and instead centers around managing the Grind Grid, a gauge at the bottom of the screen that fills up when you land attacks and move forward, and depletes when you’re hit or back away.

Whoever has more of their Grid filled will enter an empowered Vorpal state, which increases damage by 10% and gives you access to Chain Shift, an important ability that lets you cancel your moves and also briefly pauses action on screen so you can set up your next attack.

Look out for more UNIST at Combo Breaker, which runs from May 24 to 26 in Illinois, USA.
