Street Fighter V has headlined Evo, the historied fighting game tournament for the last three years now.

However, the fighting game will have to make way for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, who will be taking the top spot as the final game of Evo 2019.

The news comes as tournament organizer, Joey “Mr. Wizard” Cuellar tweeted the event’s finals schedules. On Friday August 2, the first grand finals of the weekend will be played for Soul Calibur 6. Saturday will see Under Night In- Birth Exe:Late[st], Dragon Ball Fighter Z, Samurai Shodown and Mortal Kombat 11 finals taking place.

August 4 will be the last Evo day, and will feature BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle first, followed by Street Fighter V, then Tekken 7, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate closing out the event.

The decision to make SSBU the headliner for Evo 2019 is understandable, as the game earned the most entrants for any game with 3,492 as of last week. But Tekken 7 overtaking Street Fighter V was a shock, as SFV had the second most entrants according to Cuellar.
