Call of Duty‘s new hit battle royale game, Warzone 2.0, drops Operators into the brand new map of Al Mazrah.

The desert landscape consists of six sprawling sectors and over a dozen points of interest (POI). Infinity Ward has also introduced new landmarks such as Black Sites and Strongholds, which provide a significant advantage in the form of high-tier loot to those who are able to clear them out.

To help you get the lay of the land, here are the five best landing spots to rack up kills and loot in Warzone 2.0.

The 5 best landing spots to visit in new Warzone 2 map Al Mazrah

Al Mazrah City

Al Mazrah City is the crown jewel of the desert locale. Covering the entire northeast of the map, the dense metropolitan location is home to must-visit places such as the Museum District, Embassy, and the Highrise. It also has over ten possible locations for a Stronghold, making it the perfect spot to camp once these landmarks go online after the first circle collapse.

Unsurprisingly, it is one of the hottest drop spots on the map so you’ll likely find other squads landing with you. If things get a bit too hectic, you can always glide to the outskirts of the city and loot around before entering the main area.

Neighboring POI Zarqwa Hydroelectric is also a good contingency plan since it has multiple housing areas with little to no elevation. The village locale and power plant are also located near the middle of the map, acting as the perfect place to hole out for the next circle.

East Suburbs

The East Suburbs is another POI that’s nestled just southeast of Al Mazrah City.

Don’t let its quaint vibes fool you, however. The location is a hidden gem for Operators who want to stock up on supplies and prepare for the late game. There’s an ammo cache, comms tower, and a Bank of Adal in the small area.

A highway also cuts through the POI, which leads to the heart of Al Mazrah City or down south to Ahkdar Village and Al Malik Airport.

If you’re looking for a quieter early game, you’ll want to give the area a look.

Sawah Village

Located on the outskirts of the southwest sector, Sawah Village is another solid drop point for those who want to stay away from enemy squads.

While it’s not as glamorous as the metropolitan area, Sawah has a few unique POIs for you to explore, such as a beached oil tanker and a sunken market. A Buy Station, ammo cache, potential Black Site, and Bank of Adal are all a sprint away from the center of this Atlantis-like town.

It is also brimming with loot, so you can arm up before making your way to busier locations.

Zaya Observatory

If you like having the high ground, Zaya Observatory is your best bet.

The Observatory is definitely a hot drop for its prime location. It’s right next to Hydroelectric and is the highest point on the entire map. The science complex is a great place to defend because approaching players have to deal with winding roads and craggy cliffs as they navigate the mountain range.

The only downside of the Observatory is its lack of general resources. Aside from Burger Town, a comms tower, and a Buy Station, your best bet for loot is the two possible Strongholds on the hilltop.

If you take one successfully, you’ll be rewarded with your complete loadout, which should set you up for the rest of the match.

Rohan Oil

Rohan Oil is meant for squads who don’t mind the occasional firefight while looting.

The industrial complex is an open area with warehouses and housing structures scattered throughout. While you won’t find any banks or stores nearby, there are three potential Strongholds and a comms tower in the POI’s southwest perimeter.

Squads who landed in Hydroelectric might make their way to Rohan Oil for the Buy Station, but here’s the catch. The Buy Station is positioned in the middle of climbable oil tanks, making it an easy spot to camp and take out any enemy Operators looking for a crucial buyback or their primary weapon.
