PUBG Corp. and Tencent Games are flexing pretty hard as PUBG Mobile celebrates the second-year anniversary of its release.

The popular mobile battle royale broke the 600-million-download mark just in time for its second birthday, with 50 million players actively logging in daily throughout the world.

That impressive mark doesn’t even include the China market, according to Tencent Games.

While PUBG Mobile officially turned two on March 21, the game has already been celebrating for more than a week.

Under its #2getherWePlay campaign, the game rolled out a special retro arcade and amusement park feature on March 12. The anniversary amusement park features a pair of retro-style mini-games that are reminiscent of Duck Hunt and Galaga.

Players can run around the amusement park and use Arcade Coins to play. Alternatively, they can be activated straight from a battle when a player obtains Game Tokens in-battle.

In line with its second anniversary celebrations, PUBG Mobile also rolled out Royale Pass Season 12, which gives players access to special Daily, Challenge, and Elite Missions where they can earn a variety of rewards and items.

PUBG Mobile also shared the video below to look back at a remarkable previous year. The past 12 months saw the game expanding “outside the world of gaming for several unprecedented collaborations”. These included promotions with professional basketball players, a street wear design collaboration with Bathing Ape, and a partnership with DJ Alan Walker to produce theme songs for the game.

The game also had tie-ups with pop culture IPs such as The Walking Dead, Godzilla, Angry Birds, and Resident Evil 2.
