When Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles was launched in November 2021, it featured 18 playable characters. Among them were six characters from the Demon Slayer High School spin-off anime show titled Chuukou Ikkan!! Kimetsu Gakuen Monogatari.

As the anime’s story develops and more seasons are released, the game continues to add new characters. At the time of writing, there are 13 downloadable characters, bringing the total roster to 31 playable fighters.
