Paper Rex is on the verge of finalizing their latest addition to the Valorant roster in preparation for the VCT 2024 season.

According to a report by Blix.gg, the Singapore-based esports organization is set to welcome Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha into their ranks.

The report by Alejandro “anonimotum” Gomis and Bo Hoogland announced that PRX reached a verbal agreement with Monyet. Global Esports agreed to transfer the Indonesian player to the reigning Pacific League champion’ roster.

Monyet will fill the void left by PRX’s star duelist player, Wang “Jinggg” Jing Jie. Following PRX’s second-place finish at the Valorant Champions 2023, the team’s coach, Alexandre “alecks” Sallé, announced that Jinggg would not be part of PRX’s Valorant roster for the VCT 2024 season.

Jinggg is expected to enter National Service at the start of 2024, preventing him from competing for at least one year. The compulsory duration of service is two years.
