Capcom has just opened registration for the Capcom Pro Tour 2020 South East Asia qualifier, which will close on June 22 at 12 p.m (GMT+8).

The tournament’s pool release date is scheduled on June 23 at 12 p.m. (GMT+8).

There were 21 listed attendees at the time of writing, including Evo 2013 champion, Kun “Xian” Ho, who is the clear favorite to win the entire tournament and advance to the upcoming Capcom Cup 2020 championship.

The tournament’s orientation period is set to take place on June 27 at 11 a.m. (GMT+8). The CPT 2020 qualifier competition will then kick start with Day 1 pools an hour after orientation, and will continue all the way until the tournament is left with its top eight contenders.

The CPT 2020 SEA Qualifier will first have an orientation period on June 27 at 11 a.m. (GMT+8) before the tournament formally kicks off an hour later.

The competition will continue until there are only eight contenders left, who will then advance to the final day of the qualifier on June 28 at 5 p.m. (GMT+8).

Registration is free, but the tournament is restricted to residents of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Players will also need to provide their average internet download speed, average internet ping, and average internet upload speed to join.

The winner of the Capcom Pro Tour 2020 South East Asia qualifier will advance straight to the upcoming Capcom Cup 2020 and join CPT 2020 Europe East/ Middle East 1 winner, Arman “Phenom” Hanjani and Capcom Cup 2019 winner, Derek “iDom” Ruffin.
