Vale’s skills in Mobile Legends
Passive – Windtalk
When Vale reaches level four/six/eight, he can choose to enhance one of his skills and each skill can be enhanced once only. For each enhancement, he can pick one specialization of the chosen skill.
He gains one stack of “Windtalk” each time he gets a kill or an assist, increasing his movement speed. It can stack up to 10 times.
- Selecting a specialization for his skills can make a huge difference in the game. Therefore, it’s important that you choose wisely. To help you make an informed decision, you can take a look at the recommendation for each skill.
- In the early stages of the game, participate in team fights or assist in securing pickoffs to accumulate the passive as quickly as possible.
First skill – Wind Blade
Vale unleashes two wind blades toward the left and right of a designated area. Wind blades deal magic damage.
When leveling up, he can choose to specialize into Damage Increase or Range Increase of this skill.
- To clear minion waves efficiently with this skill, position yourself to the side and angle the skill indicator diagonally. By doing so, you can hit all the minions at once and maximize your farming potential.
- Don’t be overeager in hitting all minions with this skill as it can compromise your position.
- For this skill’s specialization, you can choose between Wind Blade: Sorrow (orange), which increases damage, or Wind Blade: Scatter (blue), which increases range.
- It is highly recommended to get Wind Blade: Sorrow for burst damage.
Second skill – Windblow
Vale sends a whirlwind forward, dealing magic damage and slowing enemies for a few seconds.
When leveling up, he can choose to specialize in Stop-on-hit effect or Knock-airborne effect of this skill.
- This is his primary crowd control spell. Windblow: Fix (orange) stops upon hitting enemies and slows them for a few seconds, while Windblow: Control (blue) knocks enemies airborne.
- Pick Windblow: Control because airborne effect can interrupt skills.
- There’s a trick for you to get a specialization of Windblow and his ultimate at the same time. At level three, upgrade Windblow. And when you reach level four, select a specialization of Windblow first before getting the ultimate.
Ultimate – Windstorm
Vale summons a windstorm in a designated area. After 1.5s, the windstorm will explode, dealing 800(+160%Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to enemies in the area.
When leveling up, he can choose to specialize into Damage Increase or Crowd Control of this skill.
- Windstorm: Death (orange) greatly increases the damage of this skill, while Windstorm: Gather (blue) continuously pulls enemies into its eye before exploding.
- Windstorm: Death deals the highest amount of damage in the game. So, take this specialization. Don’t worry as it still has a slow effect.
- Bear in mind that the ultimate has a delay before exploding. To ensure that this will deal damage to your target, hit them with Windblow: Control.

Recommended battle spell

In addition to Vale’s high movement speed, Flicker provides you with another way to chase down enemies or escape from dangerous opponents, particularly assassins who tend to target squishy mages.
On the other hand, Flameshot enables you to finish off enemies who manage to survive your initial combo. You can also use it to push back approaching foes.
Recommended emblem

Mage emblem is the natural choice for Vale, for it provides substantial magic power, cooldown reduction, and magic penetration.
Alternatively, you can opt for the Assassin emblem if you want to obtain significant adaptive penetration, adaptive attack, and extra movement speed.

In terms of talents, pick Agility in the first tier to acquire additional movement speed, and Weapons Master in the second tier to gain extra magic power from your equipment, emblem, talents, and skills.
Then, select Lethal Ignition as your core talent. This enables you to inflict extra adaptive damage when you hit your target multiple times, which you can easily execute using Vale’s skill combos.
Vale best build

As one of the primary damage dealers of the team, you need to buy items that will boost your magical burst damage.
Purchase common Boots first then go straight for Clock of Destiny, which can give you additional magic power and mana at max stacks.
After upgrading to Arcane Boots, buy Lightning Truncheon, which greatly synergizes with Clock of Destiny due to its extra damage based on your max mana.
Follow up with Genius Wand, Holy Crystal, and Divine Glaive to further amplify your damage output.
If you need a defensive item, you can swap out the Genius Wand or Divine Glaive with Winter Truncheon or Immortality.
The best build for Vale in Mobile Legends

Easy skill combos to learn

During the laning phase, hit your enemy with Windblow followed by Wind Blade. If you’ve equipped Lethal Ignition, this combo will trigger the core talent’s effect, further increasing your damage output.
Remember the pro tip for you to get the Windblow: Control and Windstorm at the same time.
To execute the full combo, start by casting Windstorm, as its damage has a delayed effect. Then, use Windblow: Control to knock your target airborne before finishing them off with Wind Blade: Sorrow.
