Mobile Legends: Bang Bang received a substantial update revolving around the lifesteal and spell vamp effects in the game — starting off with the introduction of a new item, Starlium Scythe.

In an effort to enhance the player experience and improve gameplay clarity, the developers have made these changes with the intention of enabling players to easily discern which lifesteal effect is most suitable for their selected hero.

The changes come before the upcoming Talent System, a massive rework of the emblem system in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

In the upcoming update, there will be significant changes to the lifesteal effect.

One notable change is the removal of the magic lifesteal effect. Instead, physical and magic basic attacks will fall under the lifesteal effect, while physical and magic skills will now be affected by spell vamp.

Additionally, a new effect called hybrid lifesteal will be introduced, which will affect all four types of attacks.

As part of these adjustments, the Shadow Twinblades and Calamity Reaper items will be removed from the game and will be replaced by a new item called Starlium Scythe.

Although the exact details of the item’s effects have not been released, it is known that it will feature a hybrid lifesteal effect.

Moreover, Moonton has announced that certain heroes like Gord, Cyclops, and Valir will receive enhanced spell vamp ratios in the update.

While the release date for these updates has not been officially announced by Moonton, there is a possibility that they will coincide with the talent system update, which is expected to arrive later this month.
