The second two-in-one hero to hit the Land of Dawn after Popol and Kupa is tank and fighter Barats, who rides a dinosaur called Detona in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

While Barats’ specialty is in dealing damage, he also provides ample crowd control for his team thanks to his second skill and ultimate that allow him to rampage through enemy formations. Expect him to fare well as a tank, as his durability is also pretty high.

Passive – Big Guy

Each time Barats and Detona deal damage to a target, Detona gains one stack of Big Guy that caps at 25 stacks. Each stack enlarges Detona’s size, giving him extra defense and resilience.

Big Guy is the core of Barats’ mechanics, which also enhances Barats’ basic attack once it reaches a certain number of stacks.

First skill – So-Called Teamwork

Detona spits contaminated oil in a cone-shaped area in front of him, damaging and slowing down any enemies that are hit.

Barats then drops a firecracker onto the contaminated oil and ignites it, dealing damage to enemies within the area for a second time. The area of effect of So-Called Teamwork will increase when his passive, Big Guy, reaches 6, 11, 16, and 21 stacks.

This skill is Barats’ main damage source, as it has a short cooldown that allows him to stack his passive and gain early advantages.

Second skill – Missile “Expert”

Barats fires missiles at a designated area. The missiles will spout out a blast of flames upon landing, pushing enemies away in a straight line and inflicting damage at the same time.

This skill is handy for when Barats wants to initiate fights or when he’s fleeing.

Ultimate – Detona’s Welcome

Detona locks onto an enemy hero. If the target does not leave Detona’s hunting range within a short period, Detona will devour the target and surpress the target for sometime.

Detona then spits the target out, damaging them. When an enemy hero is devoured, Barats and Detona will both be unable to move, though they will be immune to crowd control effects and can still turn in any direction.

If the target is spit out and collides with a wall or other enemy heroes, bonus damage will be inflicted, and the targets, stunned.

Ideally, Detona would want to devour enemy carries and spit them towards allies. Otherwise, he can also devour a front liner, then spit them out towards the back line to stun key targets.
