Following a 9th place finish in the 2022 Spring split, TSM is making changes in preparation for summer.

South Korean pro player Choi “Mia” Sang-in, who last competed with LLA’s Estral Esports from 2021 to 2022, and previously SeolHaeOne Prince in the LCK, is headed to the North America organization, according to an Upcomer report

There are also plans to add a new starting mid laner, although no names were reported.

Estral Esports’ Mia is set to join TSM for the LCS Summer 2022 season

The 23-year-old Korean support will replace Wei “Shenyi” Zi-Jie on the starting lineup. It is unclear if Shenyi will stay with the organization.

During the tumultuous split, the 19-year-old was demoted to the academy team for two weeks before rejoining the starting lineup

Mia was a starter and substitute support for APK Prince and KT Rolster in the LCK before moving to Latin America in May 2021.

With Estral Esports, he placed second in the LLA Closing 2021 and LLA Opening 2022 playoffs.

He most recently made a name for himself in Champions Queue, Riot Games’ North American practice environment for pros, where he placed seventh on the final leaderboard in Split 1, and 54th in Split 2.
