To uninstall Valorant, you must know that the process is a bit different from simply uninstalling it from your device’s Control Panel.

The game comes with the Vanguard anti-cheating software that prevents the complete removal of the game.

You must first uninstall the Vanguard before uninstalling Valorant altogether. Once you do that, you’ll be able to completely remove the game from your laptop or PC.

  1. Open the system tray found at the bottom-right corner of your device.
  2. Right-click the red Vanguard icon.
  3. Click “Exit Vanguard.”
  4. Use the Windows Search Bar and type “Control Panel.” 
  5. Click the “Programs” tab and then navigate the list to find “VALORANT.”
  6. Click “Uninstall” beside the “Organize” button or right-click the selected application and click “Uninstall.”
