Kick streaming has made it official with Nicholas “Nickmercs” Kolcheff, the streaming platform’s latest addition.

The new contender in the live streaming space revealed that Nickmercs has signed with the platform, while the 32-year-old revealed his own video announcing the move. The video featured his normal spartan warrior mascot, ultimately reaching for a new helmet with a green twist.

Nickmercs has signed a non-exclusive contract “worth an estimated $10 million,” according to an article from Forbes.

Non-exclusivity is something the new company has been using to its advantage to help bridge the gap between its chief competitor, Twitch, and its own platform. The freedom allows for their signed creators to go live on Twitch and slowly move their audience over to the new platform, something Asmongold has given them credit for.

The list of big creators signing with the new platform has become an impressive one, featuring massive signings of Felix “xQc” Lengyel, Hikaru “GMHikaru” Nakamura, Kaitlyn “Amouranth” Siragusa, and more.

Kolcheff has long been a staple of livestreaming, starting in 2010 during the days of He’s maintained his presence as one of the largest creators in the first-person shooter gaming space, playing tons of Call of Duty, Halo, and Fortnite over the years.

Over that time, he’s managed to net nearly seven million followers on Twitch, an audience he’s dubbed the MFAM, which he hopes will follow him forward.

His new home will be helping him with live events in addition to his big contract, supporting his creations in ways we haven’t seen yet.

This move is another splash in the pond, causing a ripple that will see many at least consider the possibility that this livestream battle is far from over.
