TrueGameData’s best snipers for Warzone Pacific’s Caldera: Loadout, setup

Warzone streamer TrueGameData is one of the biggest repositories of Call of Duty stats, and he’s dug deep into the numbers to reveal the best sniper rifles in Caldera.

According to him, the four best sniper rifles in Warzone Pacific are the Vanguard Kar98k, SP-R 208, Swiss K31, and Modern Warfare Kar98k.

Some of these, such as the SP-R 208 and Modern Warfare Kar98k, are dependent on having the Focus weapon perk equipped, which reduces flinch when being shot.

The balmy island of Caldera features wide, open spaces and long sightlines, so a good sniper rifle can be key to coming out on top.

TrueGameData looked at several key statistics when evaluating each sniper rifle:

• Bullet velocity
• Flinch
• Aim walking sway
• Aim sway
• Body damage

TrueGameData opts for the VDD RE02K barrel to increase bullet velocity, reducing bullet drop at longer ranges. It also improves upper extremities damage for more damage to areas like the upper arm and upper leg.

The 1913 Variable 4-8x optic has no glint, ensuring it won’t give your position away. However, the trade-off is that you can’t hold your breath to steady your shot.

He favors the VDD Thumbhole stock for a high stability build and minimal sway, so it doesn’t matter as much that the 4-8x optic doesn’t let you hold your breath. Heavy Foregrip further improves aim stability and aim walking steadiness for better accuracy.

Finally, Leather Grip reduces ADS time, which is one of the most important stats for a sniper rifle loadout in Call of Duty.

For the SP-R, TrueGameData chose to remove the Monolithic Suppressor on the Muzzle and equip the Focus perk instead, which reduces flinch significantly.

The SP-R 26″ barrel and .300 Norma Mag 5-R Mags increase bullet velocity for more reliable long-range engagements, while the Tac Laser helps bring down ADS times.

Compared to the regular meta build, TrueGameData recommends removing the Rear Grip for the Focus perk, because of the level of flinch on the gun now.

The Singuard Custom 27.6″ stock boosts damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control for more reliable handling. And like the SP-R 208, the Tac Laser is installed to lower ADS times.

Swiss K31 best sniper class setup in Warzone Pacific: Loadout, attachments, perks

The SAS Combat Stock increases aim walking movement speed and lowers ADS time for faster strafing and corner peeks, says TrueGameData.

In addition, the Airborne Elastic Wrap adds flinch resistance and further decreases ADS time so you can react faster. It also improves aim stability, which means your reticle sways less when you’re aiming down sights.
