What is Hell’s Paradise?

Gabimaru, a legendary ninja known as the Hollow due to his lack of emotions, attempted to leave his ninja life behind. Betrayed by his own village chief, he was sentenced to death.

Supposedly resigned to death, he finds that he cannot die to mundane execution methods, thanks to his superhuman abilities — and the realization that the love he holds for his wife continues to sustain his supposedly empty heart.

With the help of executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, the pair is tasked to go to Shinsenkyo in order to bring back the Elixir of Life to the Shogunate for an official pardon of his countless crimes.
