VCT Champions 2023: Top players and their gaming mouse

PRX Ilya “something” Petrov: Logitech G Pro X Superlight White

Paper Rex sure has that something special.

Even without the 21-year-old, Paper Rex placed third at VCT Masters Tokyo. But with their star player back in the fray, PRX look unstoppable — and are poised to bring the first Champions title for a Pacific team home.

Something’s 1.10 rating through the playoffs leads his team, and he’s lethal out of the gates — 0.2 first kills per round, good for third through the playoffs.

PRX Khalish “d4v41” Rusyaidee: Logitech G Pro X Superlight Black

Paper Rex has already locked in a spot in the grand finals, and d4v41 has been a key reason why.

The 24-year-old has been quietly impressive and consistent through the whole tournament, coming in at a 1.08 rating in the playoffs, and 1.10 overall, the second-highest on his team.

He might be overshadowed by some of the bigger names on stage — and even on his own team — in some rounds, but d4v41’s overall steadiness is what helps keep PRX in the mix, whenever and wherever.

1.29 rating through the playoffs, the highest of any player. Counting the group stage as well, demon1 clocked 1.23, also the highest of any player.

Demon1’s already experienced the pain of defeat in the grand finals — coming second to Fnatic at VCT Masters Tokyo. He’s so close once again, but Valorant royalty stands in his way to another finals appearance.

LOUD Erick “aspas” Santos: Logitech G Pro X Superlight Magenta

1.16 rating overall, 1.23 rating playoffs (2nd)

Aspas is down but not out, and he’s looking for a repeat. Part of LOUD’s Champions winning squad last year, Aspas is one of three players — the other are his teammates, Matias “Saadhak” Delipetro and Felipe “Less” Basso — on track to defend their title.

Before contending for the championship, however, LOUD has a date with EG in the lower bracket final first.

Fnatic Emir “Alfajer” Beder: Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro

The 18-year-old clocked an absurd 1.37 rating through the group stage — the highest through groups — helping his team qualify comfortably for the playoffs.

Despite a setback in the first round of the upper bracket playoffs to LOUD, Fnatic slayed their way through the lower bracket, falling once again to the South American squad to claim fourth at VCT Champions.
