North American Valorant superstar Tyson “TenZ” Ngo believes that his region will defeat Europe in the upcoming VCT international competitions.

In TenZ’s opinion, NA has a better chance against Europe solely because of the Jett meta. TenZ says other than Acend’s Mehmet Yağız “cNed” İpek, no one else plays Jett in that region.

“Europe tends to rely on set plays,” said TenZ. “[Top level Jett players] are just able to disrupt everything. And it’s a lot more predictable how [European teams] play.”

TenZ then used FaZe Clan as the perfect example of a team that always disrupts how the enemy team plays. FaZe Clan’s Andrej “babybay” Francisty’s smeaging strategy caught the rest of NA by surprise during their own Valorant Masters Stage 1 tournament.

Almost all NA teams run a Jett main because her ability kit is perfect for so many different scenarios, whether it be aggressive play or risky defensive holds.

Valorant fans won’t have to wait that long to see which region will reign supreme though, as the next Valorant Masters tournament held in Reykjavík, Iceland is fast approaching. The top 10 teams from around the world will notably be competing in a LAN environment for the first time.

Valorant Masters Stage 2 will take place on May 24 to 30, and will feature teams from the following regions:

  • 2 from Brazil
  • 2 from CIS/EU/Turkey
  • 2 from North America
  • 1 from Japan
  • 1 from Korea
  • 1 from Latin America
  • 1 from Southeast Asia
