In Judgement Day, we learn that August 30, 1997, marked the day Skynet, the artificial intelligence network, became self-aware. This triggered a cataclysmic war between humanity and machines involving flesh-and-blood resistance fighters and time-traveling cyborgs.
What is the main story of Terminator?
At the core of the Terminator storyline is a relentless cyborg sent from the future with a singular mission: to assassinate Sarah Connor and her unborn son, John, who is destined to become the savior of humanity and, therefore, a threat to Skynet’s endgame plans.

The upcoming anime series boasts an impressive production team, with Skydance, Japan Animation Studio Production I.G., and Mattson Tomlin at the helm.
