Superstar Twitch streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek has confirmed that he will be participating in the upcoming VCT NA Stage 3 Challengers 2 Open Qualifier.

The news broke when Shroud was streaming the first VCT NA Stage 3 Challengers 1 Open Qualifier and shared his intentions to compete in Valorant’s competitive regional circuit.

He also plans to play in the Open Qualifier when Valorant’s latest agent KAY/O will be available for competitive play.

“So the next qualifier is probably where they’re gonna play KAY/O. That’s cool, that’s the one I’m supposed to play in. I’ll run around and silence things,” shared Shroud.

The world-renowned Twitch streamer divulged that he plans to play alongside his former Cloud9 CS:GO teammate n0thing, and top Valorant streamer ShawnBM

He further explained that he couldn’t play with other popular Twitch streamers like Brandon “Ace” Winn and his other former C9 teammate Sean “sgares” Gares, for they are currently signed with NRG and Gen.G Esports.

Riot Games has a ruling that esports organizations can only have one team participating in Valorant Champions Tour (VCT) events to maintain its competitive integrity. Players signed to an organization cannot join another team according to VCT’s Competitive Policies and Rules for Valorant Esports.

Shroud also plans to stream his initial VCT matches on his Twitch channel, provided Riot Games allows him to.
