Riot Games is extending its Lunar New Year celebration with a new Dance of Luck gun buddy that players can add to their collection for free.
Inspired by the costume of the traditional Chinese lion dance, this gun buddy might just change your luck if you’re going through some tough times in your ranked matches.
All you need to unlock it is an Amazon Prime account, but if you don’t have one, you can still activate the free 30-day trial to redeem the gun buddy.
How to unlock the Dance of Luck gun buddy for free
The Dance of Luck gun buddy is available to claim through the Prime Gaming website. To redeem it, simply log into Prime Gaming using your Amazon Prime credentials and click “Claim Now”.
You’ll also need to link your Riot Games account to your Prime Gaming one. The gun buddy will be available in your account the next time you log into Valorant.

Amazon Prime subscribers are rewarded with free limited-time in-game items every month. Past items include the Wayfinder Shorty, an Arcane Jinx player card, and different buddies and sprays.

- Go to the Valorant section of Prime Gaming to check out all the limited-time unlockables.
