Renejay “Renejay” Barcase and John Paul “H2wo” Salonga were absolutely key to Nexplay Esports’ sweep over Omega Esports in Week 5 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League PH Season 7.

With game two on the line, Omega Esports was eager to force a do-or-die. However, Nexplay’s H2wo and Renejay spoiled their plans with a two-man backdoor play to seal the win.

At the 17-minute mark, three members of Nexplay Esports and Omega Esports were in a standoff at the bottom lane around the coveted Lord.

Omega Esports started attacking Lord as they saw little resistance from Nexplay. Little did they know, Renejay’s Harith and H2wo’s Lancelot were already split pushing in the top lane.

When Adrian “Toshi” Bacallo’s Pharsa secured the Lord for Omega Esports, it was too late. The Nexplay duo were already chipping away their base.

H2wo and Renejay finished the game with a 3/1/0 and 3/2/0 KDA respectively. However, their valiant efforts earned them a lot of praise and adorations by fans.

Nexplay Esports has now overtaken Execration for third place with 13 points, one point away from Omega Esports’ 14.
