Tim Hortons x Tencent opens esports-themed coffee shop
Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons and Chinese company Tencent have teamed up to launch a special cafe catered to esports fans.
The cafe will not only offer Tim Hortons menu classics like double-doubles and Timbits, but it will also serve themed drinks, according to analyst Daniel Ahmad.
The collaboration’s first branch is now open in Shenzhen, one of China’s major cities.
The Shenzhen branch has a dedicated esports zone with everything gamers need: comfortable gaming chairs, a TV screen that plays matches, and trophies (for the ‘Gram)!
The cafe also features an interactive table with player and team information and statistics.
