Drink your XP potions!

You know what they say, 5% is 5%. Look, I know it’s not a massive boost in experience, but promise if you crack an XP potion every time you can you will definitely notice it by the end.

Let’s not forget that they also provide other bonuses like resistances, attack speed, or something else that can help you complete content faster. So take that 5%, add in eliminating monsters even quicker and it’s actually even better!

Kill all the monsters!

Speaking of eliminating monsters, that’s what you’ll need to do to get experience outside of quests and discovery.

A great plan, if you’re able to do so, is to pull two big packs of enemies instead of one. This will have you moving through content quicker and gaining experience at double the rate. So don’t be afraid of kiting the first group into another, in the end, it’ll be more efficient and have you leveling up quickly.

Play on a higher World Tier

When you first jump into the game, you’ll be able to select World Tier 1 or 2. The second will provide more difficult foes, however, it’s better loot and XP gains.

You can also change the World Tier, so don’t be afraid to up the ante a little, see how you fare, and then drop it back down if you can’t compete. If you can, it’s certainly worth the reward and will have you zooming through the levels.

Do your quests

Don’t forget to talk to the quest givers you see. While sometimes they can be a bit out of the way, there are other times when one quest may be right on the path of the main storyline or near a dungeon you plan to run for the aspect.

Quests are a great way to get more XP, earn some renown, and even get some loot! Don’t skip too many of them.

Dungeon runs

This is another one that can compound your success. Running dungeons now only gets you plenty of XP, with mobs being centralized and normally in high numbers, but it also gives better loot.

If you’re improving your gear, then you’re most likely getting through mobs faster. You know how this works — you pull more mobs, you kill them faster, and you get XP quicker. Dungeons are a huge part of Diablo 4, so make sure to run some!

Group up with others

In order to incentivize players to work together, you actually earn a party boost of XP when teaming up with other players.

The enemies will be tougher, but in general, the consensus is it’s actually easier to take out large groups of mobs when in a group. So you’ll get easier mobs, be able to pull more at a time, and earn even more XP for doing so.
