Vici Gaming (VG) has announced that they have acquired former Fnatic carry player Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon and veteran offlaner Ren “old eLeVeN” Yangwei to fill out their roster as Zhang “Eurus” Chengjun will be leaving the team.

VG announced their new lineup in a post on their official Facebook page. The team also revealed that 23savage has yet to join the rest of the team as his visa is still being processed, adding that he is expected to arrive in China sometime in late October or early November.

“Vici Gaming strictly abides by the epidemic prevention regulations and cooperates with him to complete the relevant entry procedures,” said VG.

Former Keen Gaming carry player, Yang “Erica” Shaohan, will be the stand-in for 23savage until he is able to join VG.

23savage, who notably parted ways with Fnatic in late July, will have big shoes to fill with the departure of Eurus, who has been VG’s star carry player since September 2017.

Eurus, more commonly known by his previous in-game name Paparazi, has apparently not renewed his contract with VG and will be cooperating with them for his transfer to a new team.

Eurus is expected to be joining the long-rumored Four Angry Men (4AM) Chinese superteam to reunite with his former VG teammate Zhou “Yang” Haiyang, who left VG together with coach Bai “rOtK” Fan earlier this month.

VG will debut their new lineup in the China Dota 2 Pro Cup Season 1, which starts on September 17 and will be the first major offline Dota 2 LAN event since the COVID-19 pandemic and community quarantines started.
