Valve’s reveal trailer showed a mysterious meteorite falling into the heart of the battlefield. Arc Warden’s compass then reveals a path to the prophesied impact site of a rare storm.

Every three minutes from the start of the game, the storm will cause a massive meteorite strike in the center of the map.

Players must harvest smoldering fragments called Nemestice Embers from the crashing meteorites, whilst avoiding getting hit by them.

The fragments grant Emgercharge, boosting heroes’ attack damage, spell amplification, and movement speed.

To win the game, players must destroy all the enemy towers in order to control and claim the crash zone.

Each time a tower gets destroyed, power disperses to its allied towers and makes them stronger. Loss of towers also draws the attention and assistance of Nemestice-crazed creeps.

The new game mode is live and available to all Dota 2 players, even those who do not have the 2021 Dota 2 Battle Pass.
