Finally, Call of Duty Warzone fans have gotten to put their eyes on the new Warzone map Urzikstan during the Call of Duty Next event.

The new map will join Ashika Island and Vondel as Warzone maps, although those two are smaller resurgence maps in the rotation.

Warzone map Urzikstan was described by Activision as “a massive urban battleground with water lanes and desert combat.”

Some players are already drawing similarities to the community favorite and original Verdansk, many pleasantly surprised by how the map played during the CoD Next.

Several of the points of interest on the map should be familiar to long time Call of Duty fans, with Countdown from CoD 4 and Overwatch from the original Modern Warfare 3 back in 2011 both appearing on the new map. Don’t worrry, there may be more.

Below you can find the names of all 11 POIs:

  • Levin Resort
  • Popov Power
  • Orlov Military Base
  • Seaport District
  • Urzikstan Cargo
  • Old Town
  • Low Town
  • Hadiqa Farms
  • Zaravan City
  • Zaravan Suburbs
  • Shahin Manor

Per usual, there are tons of buy stations and other traditional Warzone features, however, there are new ones as well. There is a train in the map that can be driven by players, for instance, allowing you to navigate the map quickly but also draw plenty of attention to yourself.

Warzone map Urzikstan will launch as part of Modern Warfare 3 season one along with being the map used in the new Zombies mode coming with the game.
