The October holiday update for Modern Warfare 2 has officially gone live and brought with it plenty of spooky activities, new skins, and much more.

The MW2 The Haunting event is being welcomed with open arms by the community, as the Halloween events for Call of Duty are typically well-liked.

MW2 The Haunting: Zombie Royale

Warzone 2’s Zombie Royale is set to return as part of the MW2 The Haunting event, and that’s a massive notch in the win column for players.

The limited-time mode will be live on both Al Mazrah and Vondel. The big focus of this mode is that when players are eliminated, rather than going to the gulag, they will return as zombies.

Once turned into a zombie, players will gain special abilities to aid them in their quest to collect syringes that will return them to their human form.

The game comes to an end when either the living or the dead are all that remains.

The Halloween-themed modes have been considered by many to be the best Warzone has received over the years, with the 2020 “The Haunting of Verdansk” event being a crowd favorite.

And, of course, there are several new skins to collect, including Skeletor, Ash, and Alucard.
