Kicking off ahead of October, the month of Halloween, Season 6 goes live on September 27 at 9 am PT on all platforms according to Activision.

In addition to the new Spawn operator, several others were shown off in the announcement. Fans can expect to see Inarius and Lilith from the Diablo franchise in addition to Ash Williams of the Evil Dead, Alucard from the Hellsing manga, and long-time Masters of the Universe supervillain, Skeletor.

Villains and spookier-looking characters are clearly the focus here in Season 6. Given the time of year, the marketing is on point for what fans will want to be bringing out and into a battle with zombies and other players.

In addition to the new operators comes plenty of skins for both the new and the old.

The big content outside of that is the Season 6 event, The Haunting, which sends players to investigate “anomalies as Operation Nightmare officially begins on October 17.”
