New best audio settings

Season 2 Reloaded brought an audio update to help with clarity in the game, and that means you probably want to make these changes for the best results.

You’ll want to navigate to your audio settings tab in the game and change your speaker output option to stereo for the “best audio experience possible.” In terms of the audio preset, WhosImmortal selects bass boosted, but says the devs have stated the home theater option does a good job “at highlighting footsteps as well.”

So we recommend adjusting those if you’re wanting to hear consistent and clear audio.

Inverted flash settings

Another new option brought with Season 2 Reloaded is the inverted flash option.

Everyone should know that normally when you get hit with a flashbang in Call of Duty, you can expect your screen to light up bright white. This new setting will allow you to get the opposite effect.

Players who elect to turn this on will have their screen go dark while they’re under the effect of a flashbang rather than white. All you need to do is go into the settings and turn the inverted flash option to on.

Best aim assist settings

If you’re a controller player, WhosImmortal recommends you swap your aim assist settings to the black ops options. He says this will shine in very specific instances, such as when you’re in a “rotational setting.”

He says this is “a pretty broken mechanic,” and should be utilized until they end up nerfing it.

Apply all armor setting

Next up, he says you should be turning the armor plate behavior setting to apply all.

“Having this on is going to speed things up a ton, especially now after Season 2 Reloaded. They did implement a fix for DMZ gameplay and Warzone 2 gameplay where if you run over plates, you will finally automatically pick them up,” he explained.

Only having to press your armor button once to slot in each plate is a game changer everyone should be using.

Best looting settings

Finally, the interact/reload behavior setting needs to be changed. Changing the setting to prioritize interact will allow you to loot even faster. Without it, you’ll have to hold it down in order to get it to register that’s what you want to do.

By turning it on, it will react immediately if you just tap the interact button. This can have you ready to engage with the least amount of interruptions.
