Riot’s done us dirty in the past with skin bundles containing either a Vandal or a Phantom but never both in one pack. Well, today all is forgiven, because the amazing new Glitchpop 2.0 bundle includes a Classic, Phantom, Vandal, Operator, and an awesome looking Axe for its melee.

The bundle was revealed by Riot in a closed presentation with Hitscan, and there we saw what made the Cyberpunk themed Glitchpop 2.0 collection so unique.

For those wondering what’s different between the new collection and the first iteration, the look and feel remain the same according to Valorant’s Premium Content Art Lead Sam Marino who explained, “they’re themed the same, with the same color scheme and pattern as you had with the Bulldog and the Odin.”

Valorant producer Preeti Khanolkar also shared, “it’s intentionally similar to the old one because we want the players to feel like they’re all part of the same [Glitchpop] set.”

The first Glitchpop set included the Frenzy, Judge, Bulldog, Odin, along with the Knife. While the skin had a unique and appealing design, they were all weapons that are used for certain situations, during eco rounds and force buys rounds — particularly with the Judge and Bulldog.

Riot has designed the Glitchpop axe with a switchblade animation for its blades that will always sport a different color scheme each time. To us, it looks great because it has the same look as a climbing axe mountaineers use in frozen conditions.

The Glitchpop 2.0 bundle is most likely going to be in the premium skin tier range, which means it’ll probably be priced at 8,700 Valorant points (US$89) for the whole set. The individual guns will cost 2,175 VP, and the melee weapon will set players back 4,350 VP.

The new Glitchpop bundle will be available tomorrow and will stay in the store for two weeks, according to Riot.
