Gen.G has added Shawn “Shawn12590” O’Riley to its active Valorant roster.

Shawn12590 had an impressive tournament performance during the NSG x Renegades Valorant Invitational where his team, Moon Raccoons, finished in fourth place. In the same tournament, the Moon Raccoons squad defeated Gen.G in the first game, 2-0, finishing with a tight 19-17 final round score.

The new roster change also means that Gen.G has parted ways with Loic “effys” Sauvageau, who was part of the team from back when Valorant was still in its beta phase.

Shawn12590 primarily plays Sova. He also mains Breach, who is known for being a solo defensive anchor in spike-sites — the same role that effys played for Gen.G.

Shawn12590 will be playing the duelist role according to Gen.G’s announcement, however. This suggests that Gen.G might run a triple duelist composition with Anthony “gMd” Guimond and Danny “HUYNH” Huynh.

With the addition of Shawn12590, Gen.G is all set to compete in the upcoming First Strike competitions in North America.

  • Anthony “gMd” Guimond
  • Danny “huynh” Huynh
  • Michael “MkaeL” De Luca
  • Kevin “PLAYER1” Champagne
  • Shawn “Shawn12590” O’Riley
