Developed on Unreal Engine 5 by Bandai Namco Studios, Tekken 8 is set to take a quantum leap forward for the beloved fighting game series. Featuring jaw-dropping visuals with completely remodelled characters and dynamic environments, the game introduces a revolutionary “Aggressive” fight system, promising non-stop action and rewarding players for their relentless offensive prowess.

Slated for exclusive release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Tekken 8 is gearing up for its grand debut on January 26, 2024.

The Tekken 8 Closed Beta Test isn’t just about early gameplay. It’s an invitation to join a community and dive into the immersive world of Tekken before anyone else.

Having a cross-play feature, you can test your skills in online head-to-head matches with cross-platform matching, enabling players to face off against opponents regardless of their chosen gaming platform.

You will also get the chance to step into this virtual lobby where you can connect with other players, interact, and access a myriad of new features and game modes. Customize your avatar, communicate through chat and emotes, set up matchmaking, and explore four unique areas: Battle Area, Customization Shop, Tekken Dojo, and Beach Area. Plus, brace yourself for the return of the beloved Tekken Ball mini-game, where battles take place on a beach volleyball court.

How to Register for the Tekken 8 Closed Beta Test

Registrations for the Tekken 8 Closed Beta Test are open now until October 11th at 3:00 p.m. GMT+8 through their official website. There is no required subscription to Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus to participate. Also, players who were part of the game’s Closed Network Tests in June 2023 and have downloaded the build will be able to play the upcoming Closed Beta Test after an update.
