It’s been less than a month since the release of the revamped emblem system, but Blacklist International star Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna has already identified one talent as overpowered.
In contrast to the previous system, where talents were restricted to the chosen emblem, the new system grants players the freedom to select talents according to their preferences. The new system offers a simplified version of its predecessor.
Consequently, players can now choose, for example, assassin or fighter talents even when using the tank emblem for a tank hero, based on their play style.
This intriguing development has captured the attention of both casual and professional players, including V33nus, who recently discussed her thoughts on the new emblem system and its individual talents during a livestream.

OhMyV33nus is a big fan of this new talent, and says it’s ‘mathematically worth it’
According to the Hall of Legends roam player, the best bang for buck talent right now is Tenacity from the Tier 2 talent tree.
“You can’t underestimate that 18 [physical and magic defense increase] during a 1v1, marksman to marksman,” she said. “Tenacity is legit, I promise.”
Tenacity is a tank talent that provides 18 extra physical and magic defense when your health reaches below 50 percent.
While this talent was already in the emblem system before the revamp, the new emblem system means that even non-tank heroes can pick Tenacity without having to go for the tank.
V33nus even noted that some talents like Pull Yourself Together, Weakness Finder, and Bargain Hunter are not worth it in the Tier 2 talent tree, and is convinced that Tenacity is the only good choice among Tier 2 talents.
“Mark my words, all the pro players will be utilizing Tenacity,” she added. “Mathematically speaking, it’s so worth it.”
However, she said that there are exceptions to the rule for specific heroes.
“There are exceptions like Novaria, for example,” she said. “Because if your health drops to 50% when you’re playing the hero, you’re doing something wrong because her range is so massive.”
