This is the first time that Moonton is awarding a slot through a wildcard format.

Notably, this event opens the door for regions that have not yet had the chance to compete in major MLBB tournaments such as Nepal, Bangladesh, and Mongolia

The exact dates and venue for the wild card event have yet to be announced.

Moonton has a history of hosting major MLBB tournaments in the country. Back in 2019, the first-ever M1 World Championship took place at Axiata in Kuala Lumpur. EVOS Legends went on to win the championship.

In 2022, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2022 (MSC 2022) returned to the country’s capital.

During this event, The Philippines’ RSG PH emerged victorious after securing a 4-0 sweep over Indonesia’s RRQ Hoshi in the grand final.

The M5 World Championship will take place in the Philippines in December 2023.
