The International 2019’s group stage is only two weeks away, and Valve has just released what could be the last gameplay update for Dota 2 before the biggest Esports event in history.

The patch features plenty of minor changes to the vast number of heroes, in the hopes of expanding the hero pool in the current Dota 2 meta.

The biggest change involves Tinker, who gained better talents. With an improved Cast Range, an increase in Spell Amplification, and the change of Spell Lifesteal into Manacost/Manaloss Reduction, Tinker is now a larger threat during the mid and late-game stage.

The heroes who received decent improvements are Bloodseeker, Chaos Knight, Clockwerk, Dark Seer, Dragon Knight, Drow Ranger, Elder Titan, Invoker, Lycan, Nature’s Prophet, Night Stalker, Terrorblade, Underlord, and Viper.

The heroes that were slightly nerfed are Ancient Apparition, Centaur Warrunner, Chen, Dark Willow, Grimstroke, Outworld Devourer, Spiritbreaker, and Wraith King.

Also included in the patch is an item update for the Aghanim’s Blessing. The item now has a recipe cost of 1,800 instead of 2,000. This change only affects the very late game since no player would rush an Aghanim’s Blessing before being six-slotted.
