Legendary SEA captain, Carlo “Kuku” Palad, has reached the pinnacle of Dota 2 SEA ranked pubs as he hits 10,000 MMR.

A gift three days late for Christmas, Kuku now joins the 10,000 MMR club alongside SEA brothers Rolen Andrei Gabriel “skem” Ong, Daryl Koh “iceiceice” Pei Xiang, Vincent “AlaCrity” Hiew Teck Yoong, and many more. Before you start thinking that it’s going to get any easier for us simpletons, I can assure you it won’t.

SEA ranked games are notoriously brutal due to a lack of teamwork and communication between teammates. You’d think this would be a problem seen only at low ranks, but unfortunately that’s not quite the case. The main culprit is the massive language barrier everyone faces whilst playing in SEA.

You’re looking at a player pool of Indonesians, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Thai, Singaporean, Malaysians, Mongolians and more. The only way to communicate in SEA pubs is through pings, using the chat wheel, or pray that your teammates can understand English.

Kuku often streams his ranked matches so if you ever wanted to know what high ranked SEA pubs look like, you can watch his streams on Facebook or check out highlights on his YouTube channel.
